I’m Faye, with a really sweet middle name—Caroline. I like to keep things real, have been blessed with a simple and sweet abundance, and I’ve got all kinds of ideas. I’m a creator with heart, an artisan with grit, and a dreamer with roots—full of imperfections, stories, and maybe, just maybe, a few possibilities.

Getting started with furniture transformations can feel overwhelming, but with hands-on experience since 2017, I’ve learned so much along the way. I’d love to share what I know and help guide you through the process.
Let’s work together! Whether it’s over the phone, via a screen-share session, or even over a coffee (or wine!), we’ll make a plan to bring your vision to life.
What to expect
- We’ll chat about your furniture piece and what you have in mind.
- We can discuss one of my own redesigns, or your own idea.
- We’ll talk about the differences between the three furniture-paint products I work with — Chalk Paint, Milk Paint, and Mineral Paint.
- We’ll discuss the different accentuating and finishing techniques that I’m personally experienced with, and what I’ve learned along the way.
- I’ll do my very best to answer all your questions, and will also follow-up with useful links after our chat.

A quiet prairie escape
The Down Home Farm offers a peaceful, secluded retreat just 25 minutes from Winnipeg’s city limits.
- A unique prairie escape nestled in 30 acres of riparian woodland, bordered by 90 acres of grain fields and set against wide-open prairie and a winding river. It’s a place where life moves slower and distractions fade.
- Off-grid, private, and rooted in simplicity. We’re creating spaces that blend comfort with nature, starting with our reimagined 1978 Airstream, Sweet Caroline.
- An escape from the hustle, grounded in real prairie life. This isn’t a polished resort—it’s an authentic getaway built to reflect the quiet beauty of the land we call home.
